Jimmy and Charlene made a trip to Quexmart earlier in the day, where Charlene bought a new wardrobe, razors, makeup, and a different brand of hair bleach. This brand claimed that it worked on dark hair. They figured it wasn’t worth purchasing plants for another week.

Charlene lowered the passenger side window in her flirtiest southern Appalachian accent and said, “Howdy there, handsome. Come here often?”

“Hi, I’m guessing you’re Maria. I’m Kyle,” he said nervously, extending his hand inside the vehicle as if Charlene would shake it.
